Local, fresh and organic produce is showcased here at Harvest, with alfresco dining on spacious rambling verandahs. The restaurant is set in a charming early 1900’s cottage with a cosy fireplace and elegant bar, nestled in the hinterland village of Newrybar, just 10 minutes from Byron Bay.
The Harvest Cafe is an open plan Queenslander cottage that seats up to 80 guests. Head Chef Joseph Griffin and his team offer a range of contemporary cuisine with ever changing seasonal produce. With it’s boutique wine list and extensive fresh fruit cocktails, Harvest is the perfect place for an indulgent breakfast, a long lazy lunch, or a romantic dinner as well as all your special event requirements.
Harvest features live music every Friday evening and hosts special gigs and event dinners throughout the year.
Now baking wood fired sourdough, the recently re-furbished 99 year old bakery adjoins the Harvest and is also available for hire as a function space.
As well as boasting a working historic wood fired oven, the Harvest Old Bakery is an exquisite and intimate function room. With a capacity of a maximum of 40 guests for a sit down dinner, the Old Bakery can accommodate over 100 people for a stand up party. This versatility means it is ideal for any event, from a perfectly intimate dinner, a lounge cocktail party or a silver served multi course.
The room has been fitted with a fully functional bar, leather lounges and state of the art live music sounds system, allowing musicians’ easy access to the in built equipment.
The next addition is an exclusive private dining room for 8 guests, which is being created in the space behind the wood fired oven.
